Here is one of my favorite subjects when in Florida. Love to watch them run along the fence.

Out with a friend shooting some evening shots along the Ohio River and liked these.

Here is a picture from Jacksonville, behind the school board. I liked the color and would love to have had a way to lead you into the tall building, but had to use the walkway to focus eye. I am not sure it is what I really wanted, but it will have to do.

Loved the colors and how the fishermen appeared in the image. The Darks and Golds seemed to work good together.

I was over on the Ohio River fishing and waiting for dark to shoot some star trails and this shot came about. This is a second curtain shot with a long exposure. It was shot at F/5 ISO 100 for 113 seconds. This just shows you how clear the sky was tonight.

Dinner Schooner leaving the St. Augustine channel out to the Atlantic Ocean for an evening cruise. This image was taken from Vilano Beach looking across to the St. Augustine lighthouse.



Surf was up on Vilano Beach and the surfers were having a great time riding the waves. This shot was taken with a 100-400 Canon IS lens @ 235mm F/13 1/320th ISO 200 -2/3 exp.

Just ran across this picture and wanted to post it to remember being there.

Just got back from a quick trip to Florida and have not had time to really look at images, but here are a couple of ones that got my attention.

The first are a group of guys going gator hunting with a bow, how can I say this, DUMB.


The other is a bird of paradise.

Went down to Anastasia Beach looking for some birds and stuff and it was really dead. I did shoot a couple of shots to remind me of the beach

I shot this image out the front windshield of my car with a 100-400 canon lens with a 50D while I was driving to catch a sunset. Loved the color and mood of the scence.
As they say on TV, don't try this at home, I am an expert at this type of shooting.

Just trying some different looks as I wait to head to Florida to get some new images of the beach I hope.

These are a some shots I am just playing around with.

Here is a kind of pseudo HDR image I did a long time ago, before HDR got hot. I was playing with temp and lights in photoshop and mixing. This was a rather flat image and with a little tweaking, no adding of anything, was able to make it look ok.

Here is an old house I thought had some character. I took out powerlines and all the things that distracted from the shot.

Here are a couple of shots I took driving home yesterday. These were shot out of the car with 100-400mm lens f/5.6 1/125th ISO 400 spot metering.
