Out today and liked the look of the angles and shadows. This is straight out of the camera for a change, ISO 200 F/20 1/160 with +.33 EV

I was out shooting some today playing with the negative space idea my friend Mark had discussed and working on some ways to show this. So, I did one B/W and one with muted tones. The shot was taken at f16 @ 1/80 +1 EV ISO 200
I was trying to shoot these so nothing else was in the shot but the flowers and since they were surrounded by snow, that was pretty easy.

This is an image from a little get together shooting the other night. Just thought it made an interesting look.

This shot was inspired by a fellow photographer and I liked her shot so when I saw my old boots lying on the floor, I had to give it a try. Thanks Angie for the motivation.

Simple shot taken with 400mm lens to reduce depth of field and since that was what I had on my camera and I am lazy and didn't want to change lenses

I was getting tired of doing the same old stuff, so I did a little photoshop and created a little artsy type image.

This is a practice of a framing technique I was trying. The image is from Wyoming and was shot at F/20 0.3sec. -.67 ISO 160 an processed using CS4

This use to be a barn along Rt. 52 toward Portsmouth, but it collapsed sometime this fall I guess. I could not decide which of these two shots I liked better.
They were shot at 1/160 F/7.1 @ISO 100 No compensation. Then I post processed them in Photoshop as you can tell since I took them past where I normally like for a different look and more impact.

Was cleaning up a hard drive and found this image and just liked the look and the memory of when I was there. I am trying to get back and shoot some pictures and play a little golf. This was taken at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, a great place to go and take shots in the spring to mid summer.

Again, bored to death and trying to keep from going stir crazy, I think I have watched and tried about a 100 tutorials in the last 2 days.

Can you tell I was bored tonight, plus I had to pay my friend back for his picture of me.

Went to mountains today to shoot a few shots, could not decide where to go, but after getting to an area with snow this deep, we decided not to push it

Another shot last night as I was driving around trying to find something interesting to shoot. This again was a handheld shot I did from my car. It is in the park in Milton and was just for fun.

Had to get out and take a shot in the snow tonight. I am thinking of going to the Mountains to shoot some this weekend, if you don't hear from me, I went over a hill.

Nothing special, just trying to work on seeing some shots differently

This is my other "Ham" I like to practice on. I was working with studio lighting for the first time and found out kids are a lot more difficult to photograph than Mountain Lions, Wolves, Bears or about any othe wild animal.
